Dan laat een aardbeving het kristal barsten en vallen de wrede Skekses binnen en moet de jonge Jen op zoek naar een scherf die de wereld kan redden. Een sprookjesachtige avonturenfilm, van de makers van de Muppet Show. Mooi vormgegeven, met snufjes Tolkien en Star Wars, alles gesitueerd in een fantasierijke, soms onkarakteristiek duistere, poppenwereld. Veel interessanter dan menige computer-animatie.

Jen (Stephen Garlick), raised by the noble race called the Mystics, has been told that he is the last survivor of his own race, the Gelflings.
